3-D Mapping Systems
3D mapping systems have revolutionised catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias, particularly rhythms such as
atrial fibrillation and
ventricular tachycardia. These systems allow us to create very accurate pictures of the chambers of the heart we are ablating. They also allow us to see the catheters we are manipulating in the heart without needing to use x-rays all the time.
